Fundamentals of Visual Expression and Representation ECTS  6 Main learning objectives:

  1.  Make an appropriate use of elements and techniques of plastic and visual language in the graphic representation of images.
  2. Adapt the graphical representation of the message to the communication objectives .
  3. Understand the basics of color theory, its importance in the artistic-plastic processes and use them creatively in the graphical representation of message creation.

Image Theory ECTS  5 Main learning objectives:

  1. Identify, assess and interpret images using different analysis models.
  2. Know the theoretical principles of visual perception.

Computer Media ECTS  6 Main learning objectives:

  3. Digitize images, store and convert them into an appropriate file format.

Graphic Design Advertising Projects ECTS  28 Main learning objectives:

  1. Plan and develop the design process in practical cases, performing quality controls to solve the technical , artistic and communication problems which can arise.
  2. Properly plan the implementation of the various phases of a project, developing it till obtaining a quality finished product .
  3. Know and master the software related to creation and development of graphic products at a professional level.

Labour Training and Guidance ECTS  5 Main learning objectives:

  1. Know economic, social and cultural aspects of employment and identify the paths to access to the labour market and lifelong learning programs.
  2. Know and apply the rules on work safety and health standards and develop the necessary sensitivity towards environmental protection.
  3. Know the legal framework regarding advertising and rights of consumers and users.
  4. Know and draw up the contracts used by self-employed workers and know the current copyright law.

Industrial Printing Techniques ECTS  2 Main learning objectives:

  1. Analyze the original so as to choose the adequate printing process.
  2. Know the different types of industrial printing and its characteristics.
  3. Create graphic projects, choosing the most suitable system of printing and preparing the files for it.
  4. Control the printing process at all stages of reproduction making the necessary quality controls .

Introduction to Business Activities ECTS  2 Main learning objectives:

  1. Know the different models of business organization from the classical schools until present.
  2. Study consumers’ buying behavior.
  3. Learn to find the resources needed to launch a new business using different sources of information.

Artistic drawing ECTS 9 Main learning objectives:

Support arrangements

La Escuela de Arte Talavera, aparte de su participación en el programa Erasmus, recibe cada año estudiantes extranjeros que vienen a realizar estudios, fundamentalmente de cerámica, atraídos por el nombre de Talavera.Tenemos, por tanto, experiencia en este campo y somos conscientes de las dificultades que tienen cuando llegan. Por ello, consideramos fundamental hacerles la vida más fácil ayudándoles con el alojamiento, el idioma, dándoles toda la información necesaria sobre los estudios y, en definitiva, facilitando su integración en la Escuela y en la ciudad.

La Escuela de Arte Talavera ayudará a los alumnos a acceder a los cursos de Español para Extranjeros que organizan diversas instituciones. Además, organizará diversos actos que permitan la interacción con los estudiantes españoles y, por tanto, la práctica del idioma.
